Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are critical to employee retention, engagement and performance because they foster an inclusive environment. Companies with inclusive organizations have 50% lower turnover (Betterup, 2019) and are twice as likely to meet or exceed financial targets and three times as likely to be high-performing (Bourke, 2016).

ERGs are key to creating an inclusive experience, and yet, many ERG leaders have no prior leadership experience. Organizations that invest in their ERG leaders can expand ERG impact and unlock the benefits of inclusion.

ERG leaders in this program will expand their ability to:

  • Determine how to invest VIBE budget (delivered by Shure)

 Engage stakeholders for impactful experiences

  • Communicate and outreach effectively with VIBE and non-VIBE members

  • Collaborate with other VIBES

  • Identify and engage other key stakeholders

  • Recruit volunteers

  • Promote VIBE initiatives and events

  • Leverage internal and external resources in support of VIBE goals

  • Leverage the support of executive sponsors (delivered by Shure)

  • Deliver compelling presentations (delivered by Shure)

 Lead their VIBEs effectively

  • Facilitate effective VIBE meetings

  • Lead with influence

  • Set clear expectations

  • Maintain psychological safety
